Type and genetics
To produce the feminized CBD Kush seeds, Dutch Passion gave an elite clone of Kandy Kush to CBD Crew, which was pollinated with a pure CBD strain. The result is a strain with the same percentage of THC and CBD which is around 8% of both cannabinoids and produces a very pleasant moderate effect.
CBD Kush is a plant of moderate height and indica appearance: wide leaves, short internodal distance, dark color ... It develops a large central bud and does not respond well to apical pruning, so it is best to remove some secondary branches during the flowering phase.
Aroma and Flavor
The CBD Kush flavor is mild and can remind us of both Kush and diesel varieties, with a very peculiar citrus undertone. The smell is slightly musky.
Due to the 1:1 ratio (THC/CBD), CBD Kush produces a smooth and relaxing effect, very suitable for medical cannabis users; it is also an excellent choice for novice users with low tolerance to the psychoactive effects of THC, as well as for those looking for a sustainable effect compatible with day-to-day responsibilities.
CBD Kush is a strain with an average yield, which in indoor crops reaches half a gram per watt as a general rule. Outdoors you can expect harvests of 400 grams on plants of one and a half meters in height.
Flowering in indoor crops
CBD Kush will be ready to harvest after 9 weeks of flowering if grown under artificial lighting.
Flowering in outdoor crops
In the northern hemisphere it can be harvested at the beginning of October, while in South America it is ready to harvest in April.
50% sativa 50% indica
La Huerta's opinion
CBD Kush outdoors produces a smooth and clear-headed effect on a mental level, very suitable for those who want to enjoy cannabis without stopping their daily activities.
