Type and genetics
Mazar is one of the most successful varieties of Dutch Passion. These feminized marijuana seeds are born from the crossing between the famous strains Skunk #1 and Afghani (Mazar and Shariff). As a result, Mazar is a marijuana plant easy to cultivate, productive and powerful.
Mazar has a robust structure of Christmas tree, a typical morphology of the indica genetics, with heavy and robust secondary branches which contribute to reach big yields.
Aroma and taste
Mazar's terpene profile produces an aroma and flavor reminiscent of the best Afghan hashish, with sweet and earthy hints, accompanied by citrus notes .
It provides a strong and relaxing effect, especially on a physical level. It easily induces a contemplative state, suitable for the practice of meditation and ideal for falling asleep or relaxing after a hard day.
Mazar has an XL yield, that is to say, it forms a great quantity of very resinous and compact buds all over the plant, being able to reach the gram per watt easily if you provide it with the right conditions. This is due to the masterful genetic cross that combines the robust structure typical of Afghan Indica (which serves to support a good production of buds without problems), with the high yield of Skunk#1.
Flowering in indoor cultivation
In rooms or in grow-rooms, Mazar will be ready to harvest in about 8-9 weeks of flowering after the change of photoperiod to 12 hours of light. A genetics with a great yield in a relatively short period of time ideal for those who seek to maximize each cycle.
Flowering in outdoor crops
In outdoor crops this strain is harvested in early October in the Northern Hemisphere and early April in the Southern Hemisphere. A strain with a medium harvest time that escapes the long waits of other sativa-dominant strains and therefore may be more suitable for colder climates.

La Huerta's opinion
Mazar is a Dutch Passion classic that will certainly not disappoint lovers of resinous and potent Indicas. A classic of the 80's turned into a best-seller that is ideal for novice growers who expect high quality harvests; because with a little care it offers great results.
