The odour filter is related to the airflow that the extractor discharges. That's why it's very important for you to choose the right size.
Place a piece of flexible tubing on the filter's mouthpiece to the mouthpiece of the extractor and from the opposite mouthpiece of the extractor, another piece of tube outside.
Change the filtrina (foam that surrounds the filter) once it gets dust-laden.
Ensure that you never exceed 70% humidity in cultivation; in addition to being unsuitable for your plants, it will render the filter useless as the active carbon will be soaked with water.
It's normal for the extractor to slow down and dampen the noise when the odour filter is installed.
