Recommended Use of Cali Terpenes:

The Cali Terpenes are 100% pure, without dilutions or additives. They must be handled with care and should not be consumed undiluted (except the tastings on the borosilicate vaporizers of Cali Terpenes).

1ml of terpenes = 40 drops (0.025ml per drop from a 1ml dropper). 1 drop of terpenes accounts for approximately 0.25% in 10ml of base:

1 drop in 10ml = 0.25%

2 drops in 10 ml = 0.50%

4 drops in 10ml = 1%

8 drops in 10ml = 2%

12 drops in 10ml = 3%

Liquid bases for vaporization (e-liquids):

• The recommended terpene ratio to provide adequate flavor to e-liquid bases ranges between 1 and 3% of terpenes (you can use up to 4% with the most common being 2%).

• For example, suppose you want to flavor 10ml of your e-liquid base by adding 2% of terpenes. For this, you'd need to add only 0.2ml of terpenes to the base.

• Following the same ratio, if you have 100ml of e-liquid base, you would need to add 2ml of terpenes.

Cannabis Extracts and Concentrates:

• The recommended proportion of Cali Terpenes to give adequate flavor and aroma to dry extractions (traditional hash or dry), as well as BHO (shatter, live resin, wax), rosin, THC or CBD distillates,... is between 1 and 3% of terpenes (you can use up to a maximum of 4%, with the most common ranging from 2 to 3%).

• For example, suppose you have 10gr of a cannabis concentrate, say a distillate (commonly known as clear), and want to add 3% of terpenes. For this, you'd simply add 0.3ml of our terpenes.

• It is very helpful to test from a lower to a higher quantity first, to find the right ratio before mixing it with all the material.

• It is very important to mix it well to ensure homogeneity, and also, allowing a resting/maceration time of at least 24/48 hours, so the terpenes can fully integrate.

Hemp flowers or cannabis:

Terpenes can also be used to flavor hemp or cannabis buds. It is not recommended to add more than 4% terpenes to these, as the flowers may contain some terpenes naturally. An excess of terpenes might result in an overly intense and possibly unpleasant aroma.

The ideal method to apply terpenes to buds, flowers, and dry herbs is the Terps Spray.

For smaller quantities of buds, you could use a cosmetic sprayer for a similar (yet not as professional) functionality as Terps Spray. It's also possible to use a terpenes-soaked blotting paper in the same container, but the scent is usually better integrated when sprayed on the buds.

Preservation of Terpenes:

The packaging of Cali Terpenes is perfect for the right preservation of terpenes, as they come with a safety seal, anti-leak disc, and screw-top cap.

1. After using the product, you'll need to replace these items every time to prevent possible evaporation or contamination.
2. Since terpenes are volatile substances, we recommend always storing them in a cool place, preferably a refrigerator (around 7ºC), to avoid potential evaporation while working with them.
3. The working temperature with terpenes should not exceed 60ºC, as this would prevent the evaporation of the more volatile terpenes.
4. Always keep terpenes in their original packaging, as its material (dark glass without UV passage) is perfect for preserving thermo or photosensitive products. This prevents possible color changes, losses, or cross-contamination (terpenes can act as diluents and corrode certain materials like some types of plastic).
