Usage recommendations of Cali Terpenes:

Cali Terpenes are 100% pure, without any dilutants or additives. They should always be used with caution and never consumed undiluted (unless used for tastings in the borosilicate pipettes or vaporizers by Cali Terpenes).

1ml of terpenes = 40 drops (0.025ml per drop of the 1ml dropper). A single drop of terpenes makes up approximately 0.25% of a 10ml base:

1 drop in 10ml = 0.25%

2 drops in 10 ml = 0.50%

4 drops in 10ml = 1%

8 drops in 10ml = 2%

12 drops in 10ml = 3%

• The recommended percentage of terpenes to adequately flavor e-liquid bases is between 1 and 3% (up to 4%, with 2% being the most common).

• For instance, if you wish to flavor a 10ml e-liquid base by adding 2% terpenes, you'll need to mix it with only 0.2ml of terpenes.

• Following the same ratio, for a 100ml e-liquid base you would add 2ml of terpenes.

Cannabis extracts and concentrates:

• The recommended proportion of Cali Terpenes to provide enough flavor and aroma to dry extractions (traditional hashish, dry...), as well as BHO (shatter, live resin, wax...), rosin, THC or CBD distillates,.. is between 1 and 3% of terpenes (up to 4% maximum, with 2 to 3% being the most common).

• As an example, let's say you have 10g of a cannabis concentrate, such as a distillate (commonly known as clear) and you wish to add 3% terpenes. You need to add only 0.3ml of our terpenes to do this.

• It's very useful to start with smaller increments. We recommend adding 1 drop for 3g, 1 drop for 2g, 1 drop for 1g, then tasting the result after a few days to discern the most appropriate ratio, so that you can identify the ideal ratio before mixing it with all the material.

• It's very important to thoroughly mix it to achieve a homogeneous result, and to let it rest/steep for at least 24 to 48 hours so the terpenes can fully integrate.

Hemp or Cannabis Flowers:

Terpenes can also be used to add aroma to buds, whether from hemp or cannabis. It is not recommended to add more than 4% of terpenes as flowers may already contain their own terpenes. Excessive terpenes could result in a too intense and possibly unpleasant aroma.

The ideal method for applying terpenes to buds, flowers, and dry herbs is Terps Spray.

In case you're dealing with small quantities of buds, you can use these liquid terpenes in a cosmetic sprayer for a similar (though not as professional) function as Terps Spray. You could also use a paper soaked with terpenes in the same container, but they are usually more integrated when sprayed, in the case of buds.

Storage of Terpenes:

The containers for Cali Terpenes are perfect for the optimal storage of terpenes, equipped with a safety stopper, leak-proof disc, and screw cap.

1. Always replace these components after each use to avoid possible evaporation or contamination.
2. Terpenes are volatile elements, hence we always recommend storing them in cold in the fridge (around 7°C), to prevent possible evaporation while working with them.
3. The working temperature with terpenes should not exceed 60°C, to avoid evaporation of the volatile terpenes.
4. Always keep terpenes in their original container, the dark glass used (which doesn't allow UV light through) is perfect for storing thermo-sensitive or photo-sensitive products. This way you'll avoid possible color changes, losses or cross-contamination (terpenes can act as solvents and corrode residues of materials such as certain plastics).
