The cannabis aromas (terpene profiles) from Cali Terpenes can be used for a myriad of applications. In the cannabis and vaping industry, they're predominantly used to infuse specific cannabis strain aroma and flavor into products such as:

Recommended Usage of Cali Terpenes:

The terpenes from Cali Terpenes are 100% pure with no diluents or additives. You should handle with caution and should not consume them undiluted (except for testing in the Cali Terpenes' borosilicate vaporizers or pipettes).

1ml of terpenes = 40 drops (0.025ml per drop from the 1ml dropper). One drop of terpenes represents approximately 0.25% in 10ml of base:

1 drop in 10ml = 0.25%

2 drops in 10 ml = 0.50%

4 drops in 10ml = 1%

8 drops in 10ml = 2%

12 drops in 10ml = 3%

Vaping liquid bases (e-liquids):

• The recommended terpene ratio to provide sufficient flavor to e-liquid bases is between 1 and 3% of terpenes (up to a maximum of 4%, typically around 2%).

• For example, suppose you want to flavor 10ml of e-liquid base, adding 2% of terpenes. For that, you only need to add 0.2ml of terpenes.

• Using the same ratio, if you have 100ml of e-liquid base, you should add 2ml of terpenes.

Cannabis Extractions and Concentrates:

• The recommended Cali Terpenes ratio for imparting sufficient flavor and aroma to dry extractions (traditional hash, dry…), as well as BHO (shatter, live resin, wax…), rosin, THC or CBD distillates,... is between 1 and 3% of terpenes (up to a maximum of 4%, typically around 2 to 3%).

• Let's say for example, you have 10g of cannabis concentrate, like a distillate (commonly known as clear) and you want to add 3% of terpenes. You just need to add 0.3ml of our terpenes.

• It's useful to test smaller to larger amounts, for example: 1 drop for 3g, 1 drop for 2g, 1 drop for 1g… sample after a few days to appreciate the result of different ratios used. This will help you find your ideal ratio before mixing it with all of the material.

• It's crucial to mix it up well for a uniform result, besides providing a settling/infusing time of at least 24/48h, thus the terpenes will fully integrate.

Hemp or Cannabis Flowers:

Terpenes can also be used to scent buds, either hemp or cannabis. It's not recommended to add more than 4% of terpenes, and in some cases, the amount of aroma to apply might have to be less since the flowers may contain some of their own terpenes. An excess of terpenes would result in overwhelmingly intense and possibly unpleasant smell.

The ideal method to apply terpenes to buds, flowers, and dry herbs is Terps Spray.

If you have small amounts of buds, you can use these liquid terpenes in a cosmetic spray or similar to perform a function similar (not as professional) to Terps Spray. You can also use a blotting paper soaked with terpenes in the same package, but they usually blend better when sprayed, in the case of buds.

Terpenes Storage:

The Cali Terpenes' packaging is perfect for a proper storage of terpenes, as it features a safety shutter, leak-proof disk and screw-top cap.

1. Every time after using the product, put all these elements back to prevent possible evaporations or contaminations.
2. Terpenes are volatile substances, therefore we always recommend storing them in a cool place, like the refrigerator (around 7ºC), to prevent possible evaporations while you're working with them.
3. The working temperature for terpenes shouldn't exceed 60ºC, thus you'll prevent the evaporation of the more volatile terpenes.
4. Always keep the terpenes in their original packaging, due to the material used (opaque glass that doesn't allow UV light to pass through), is perfect for storing thermo or photosensitive products. This way you'll avoid possible color changes, losses or cross-contaminations (terpenes can act as diluents and corrode residues of materials such as some plastics).
