Mojito Terpenes by Cali Terpenes:

The Mojito cannabis terpene profile by Cali Terpenes is a blend of botanically derived terpenes with the aromatic profile (terpene profile) characteristic of the terpene extraction from the exotic Mojito strain of cannabis, which is a cross between Limegerian (Lime Kush x Nigerian) and Orange Blossom Trail.

The Cali Terpenes terpenes are of 100% organic origin (plant-based).

To create the aromas (terpenes) of Cali Terpenes, certified raw materials of the highest quality from non-GMO, pesticide-free, and contaminant-free cultivation are used.

The Mojito terpenes do not contain cannabinoids (THC, CBD, CBG, CBN, etc.).

Main Terpenes in Mojito:

Linalool, Caryophyllene, Limonene, Menthol, Pinene, Nerolidol, Terpineol, Carvone, Cineole.

Cannabinoid Effect Modulation by Terpenes:

The Mojito terpenes interact synergistically with cannabinoids, modulating their effects, and creating a stimulating and enjoyable sensation.

These terpenes are perfect for improving mood and relieving daily stress.

Mojito Terpenes Flavor and Aroma:

The Mojito terpenes by Cali Terpenes have an intensely citrus aroma and flavor reminiscent of lime with mint and chocolate notes.

Uses of Cali Terpenes Terpenes:

The cannabis aromas (terpene profiles) of Cali Terpenes are used for many different applications, but in the cannabis and vaping sector, they are primarily used to add the aroma and flavor of specific cannabis strains to products like:

  • Vaporizer liquids (e-liquids).
  • Cannabis extractions and concentrates (rosin, BHO, traditional hash, THC or CBD distillates for "vape cartridges").
  • Hemp flowers or cannabis (buds).

Cali Terpenes Terpenes Usage Recommendations:

The Cali Terpenes terpenes are 100% pure, without diluents or additives. They must be handled with care, and should not be consumed undiluted (except for tastings using Cali Terpenes' pipettes or borosilicate vaporizers).

1ml of terpenes = 40 drops (0.025ml per drop from a 1ml dropper). One drop of terpenes represents approximately 0.25% in 10ml of base:

1 drop in 10ml = 0.25%

2 drops in 10 ml = 0.50%

4 drops in 10ml = 1%

8 drops in 10ml = 2%

12 drops in 10ml = 3%

We always recommend doing tests from lesser to greater quantities on the same base, as Cali Terpenes' terpenes can easily provide a strong flavor and aroma given their 100% purity.

Liquid bases for vaping (e-liquids):

  • The recommended terpene ratio to provide sufficient flavoring to e-liquid bases is between 1 and 3% of terpenes (up to 4% can be used, with 2% being the most common).
  • For example, if you want to flavor 10ml of e-liquid base by adding 2% of terpenes, you would only need to add 0.2ml of terpenes.
  • Following the same ratio, if you have 100ml of e-liquid base, you should add 2ml of terpenes.

Cannabis extractions and concentrates:

  • The recommended Cali Terpenes' terpene ratio to provide enough flavor and aroma to dry extractions (traditional hash or dry hash...), as well as BHO (shatter, live resin, wax...), rosin, THC or CBD distillates,... is between 1 and 3% of terpenes (up to 4% maximum can be used, with 2 to 3% being the norms).
  • For example, if you have 10gr of cannabis concentrate, like a distillate (commonly known as clear), and you want to add 3% of terpenes, you would only need to add 0.3ml of our terpenes.
  • It's very practical to perform tests with lesser to greater quantities, for example: 1 drop for 3gr, 1 drop for 2gr, 1 drop for 1gr... carry out a tasting after a few days to appreciate the outcome of the various proportions used, as through this means, you'll ascertain the ideal proportion before mixing it with all the material.
  • Properly mixing the components is very important for a uniform outcome, in addition to allowing a resting/maceration period of at least 24/48h. By doing this, the terpenes will fully integrate.

Hemp or cannabis flowers:

Terpenes can also be used to flavor buds, whether they're hemp or cannabis. It's not recommended to add more than a 4% of terpenes and in some cases the percentage of aroma to apply might need to be lower as the flowers might contain some of their own terpenes. Too much terpenes would result in an overly strong, possibly unpleasant aroma.

The ideal method to apply terpenes to buds, flowers, and dry herbs is Terps Spray.

For small quantities of buds, you can use these liquid terpenes in a cosmetic sprayer or similarly to perform a function akin (though not as professional) to the Terps Spray. It's also possible to use a blotting paper with terpenes in the same container, but they usually integrate better when sprayed, particularly in the case of buds.

Terpenes Preservation:

The packaging of Cali Terpenes' terpenes are ideal for a perfect preservation of the terpenes since they're equipped with a safety cap, anti-leakage disc, and screw-on cap.

  1. Whenever you're done using the product, replace all these elements to prevent potential evaporations or contaminations.
  2. Terpenes are volatile elements, which is why we always recommend preserving them in the cold inside the refrigerator (approx 7°C), to prevent potential evaporations while working with them.
  3. The working temperature with terpenes should not exceed 60°C to avoid the evaporation of the most volatile terpenes.
  4. Always keep the terpenes in their original packaging since the material used (dark glass that doesn't allow UV passage) is perfect for preserving thermo or photosensitive products. This way, potential color changes, losses, or cross-contaminations can be avoided (terpenes can act as solvents and corrode pieces of materials like is the case with some certain plastics).

Certifications of Cali Terpenes' Terpenes:

  • Cali Terpenes S.L. is registered as an exporting company in the FDA (Food and Drugs Association).
  • Their products comply with the European vaporization regulations.

Awards:

  • Award for the Best Post-Harvest Product at Spannabis 2019
