The cannabis aromas (terpene profiles) by Cali Terpenes are used for many different applications, primarily in the cannabis and vaping sector, to add specific cannabis strain aromas and flavors to products like:

• Vaping liquids (e-liquids).

• Cannabis extracts and concentrates (rosin, BHO, traditional hash, THC or CBD distillates for the creation of "vape cartridges" …)

• Hemp flowers or cannabis (buds).

How to use Cali Terpenes:

The Cali Terpenes are 100% pure, without diluents or additives. You must handle them with caution and they should not be consumed undiluted (except for taste testing in Cali Terpenes borosilicate vaporizers).

1ml of terpenes = 40 drops (0.025ml per 1ml dropper drop). 1 drop of terpenes corresponds to approximately 0.25% in 10ml of base:

1 drop in 10ml = 0.25%

2 drops in 10 ml = 0.50%

4 drops in 10ml = 1%

8 drops in 10ml = 2%

12 drops in 10ml = 3%

We always recommend you to start with smaller to larger amounts on the same base, as the Cali Terpenes have an intense flavor and aroma due to their 100% purity.

For vaping liquids (e-liquids):

• The recommended proportion of terpenes to give enough flavor to e-liquid bases is between 1 and 3% of terpenes (you can go up to 4%, with 2% being the most common).

• For example, suppose you want to flavor 10ml of e-liquid base, contributing 2% of terpenes. To do this, you would only need to add 0.2ml of terpenes.

• Following the same ratio, if you had 100ml of e-liquid base, you would need to add 2ml of terpenes.

For cannabis extracts and concentrates:

• The recommended proportion of Cali Terpenes for adding enough flavor and aroma to dry extractions (traditional hashish or hash, dry…), as well as BHO (shatter, live resin, wax…), rosin, THC or CBD distillates,... is between 1 and 3% of terpenes (you can use up to a 4% maximum, with 2 to 3% being the most common ranges).

• For example, suppose you have 10g of cannabis concentrate, such as a distillate (commonly known as clear) and want to add 3% of terpenes. For that, you will only need to add 0.3ml of our terpenes.

• It's very helpful to test smaller to larger amounts, for example: 1 drop for 3g, 1 drop for 2g, 1 drop for 1g… take a taste test after a few days to appreciate the result of the different proportions used, enabling you to know the ideal proportion before mixing it with all the material.

• It's crucial to mix well for a homogeneous result, in addition to allowing a resting/maceration period of at least 24/48h, in this way the terpenes will fully integrate.

For hemp or cannabis flowers:

Terpenes can also be used to flavor buds, of hemp or cannabis. It is not recommended to add more than 4% of terpenes and in some cases, the percentage of aroma to apply may need to be less because the flowers may contain some of their own terpenes. An excess of terpenes would result in an overly intense and possibly unpleasant aroma.

The ideal method for applying terpenes to buds, flowers, and dry herbs is Terps Spray.

If you only have small amounts of buds, you can use these liquid terpenes in a cosmetic sprayer or similar to perform a similar (though not as professional) function as Terps Spray. It's also possible to use terpene-infused blotting paper in the same container, but they usually integrate better when sprayed on buds.

Storing Terpenes:

The Cali Terpenes containers are ideal for the perfect preservation of the terpenes because they come equipped with a safety stopper, leak-proof disc, and a screw-top cap.

1. After each use, replace all of these elements to prevent possible evaporation or contamination.
2. Terpenes are volatile elements, for this reason, we always recommend storing them cold in the refrigerator (around 7ºC), to avoid potential evaporation while working with them.
3. The working temperature with terpenes should not exceed 60ºC to prevent the evaporation of the more volatile terpenes.
4. Always keep terpenes in their original container, as the material used (dark glass that does not let in UV) is perfect for the preservation of thermo or photosensitive products. This will avoid possible changes in color, losses, or cross-contaminations (terpenes can act as solvents and corrode traces of materials such as some plastics).
